Comments: With 38,000 annual enrollments, AU is Canada’s leader in flexible online postsecondary education, offering a wide variety of courses to students around the world. In 2006, AU became the first Canadian public university to receive accreditation in the US through MSCHE. No other public Canadian university holds this level of regional accreditation.
Please note that it might not be possible to earn all of the listed degrees in a paper-based format. Some of the degrees require web-based courses or lab work. They are transitioning their classes to an online format with many books in e-text format. If you are interested in a course, they advise you to have an advocate contact the Enrollment and Academic Services Department. They can then ask the professor if the course material can be printed and completed by mail. This printing would be done at your expense. Your advocate can also help with purchasing textbooks directly from the publisher at an additional cost; however, there still might be online requirements to consider.
