Federal Prison Camp Pensacola is a minimum-security federal prison in Pensacola, Florida, which houses male inmates. It was opened in 1988.
FPC Pensacola was established in 1988 to provide prisoner labor for the Pensacola Naval Complex.
Notable inmates include NFL running back Jamal Lewis (served four months), NBA referee Tim Donaghy (served 15 months), and Goldman Sachs partner Robert Freeman (served four months).
Media reports indicate that at least one inmate has escaped from the prison.
In 2017, Insider Monkey named FPC Pensacola one of the ten easiest federal prisons to do time in.
In 2012, CNBC named the facility one of the 12 best federal prisons to do time. In 2009, Forbes magazine named the institution one of the ten cushiest federal prisons. And in 2005, The Kansas City Star named FPC Pensacola one of the five best federal prisons for white-collar offenders.

FPC Pensacola does not have a UNICOR facility.
Commissary
Inmates at FPC Pensacolcanto shop in the commissary once a week on their designated day. A monthly spending limitation of $360.00 is imposed. A wide variety of commissary items are available for inmate purchase.
Recreation Services
The Recreation Department offers a wide variety of leisure time activities. Intramural sports include softball, basketball, flag football, soccer, and volleyball. Weight training and fitness (abs/stretching, step aerobics, Presidential Sports Award Program, and other wellness activities are available. Additional activities include music, hobby crafts (art, leather, wood), racquetball, bocce ball, and horseshoes.
Visitation Information for FPC Pensacola
