Tyheem Henry, convicted as the ringleader of a 2011 mob beating, was serving a 15-year sentence at the Lee Correctional Institute. On September 8, 2013, the website Charleston Thug Life published Facebook postings Henry had made using a contraband cell phone, prompting a shakedown at the prison. Henry was charged with disciplinary violations, placed in segregation, and lost good time credits and canteen, telephone, and visitation privileges.
