Background
CI Giles W. Dalby is a private prison. It is owned and operated by Management and Training Corporation.
The facility opened in 1999. It primarily houses deportable aliens. Most inmates release to Immigration and Customs Enforcement custody for deportation following their sentence.
Inmate Housing
CI Dalby has six general population housing units. Inmates are primarily housed in two-person cells and dormitories.
Building A consists of four pods. Two of these pods house the Special Housing Unit. The SHU has 61 cells for inmates in disciplinary segregation and administrative detention. The two other Building A pods have 64 double occupancy cells.
Buildings B and C have four pods, each with 32 two-person cells. While restrooms are available in the cells, inmates must shower in a designated showering area. The shower area has partitions for privacy.
Building D has eight pods. Two of the pods house 32 two-person cells. The other six pods consist of open dormitory housing.
Buildings E and F have four dormitory pods. These are open-bay dormitories.
Health Services
The Health Services Department at Giles W. Dalby Correctional Facility offers routine medical, dental, and mental health services to all inmates. This includes diagnostic physical and medical exams, as well as dental evaluations. Inmates must submit a sick call form to receive routine care. Emergency care is available 24 hours a day.

Inmates at Correctional Institution Dalby have access to a Psychology Services Department. Here, prisoners can participate in various treatment groups, including:

Commissary
