United States Penitentiary Allenwood is located in White Deer in Union County, Pennsylvania, between Williamsport and Lewisburg. This high-security facility serves male inmates and opened in 1993. Offenders are housed in two-person cells and are secured with fencing, patrol roads, guard towers, and an intrusion detection system. Employment is required, with many inmates working in maintenance jobs or a prison upholstery factory.
Allenwood Medium FCI
Federal Correctional Institution Allenwood Medium is located in Brady Township in Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, near Montgomery. Part of the Allenwood Federal Correctional Complex, this medium-security institution is approximately 75 miles north of the state capital of Harrisburg. Although internal and external security controls are more relaxed than in high-security Pennsylvania federal prisons, inmates must still pursue educational and vocational goals and hold down a prison job to provide them with structure and maximize their chances of an eventual successful release back into civilian society.

Lewisburg USP

Those serving time at the camp are nonviolent offenders and usually have only a few years remaining to serve. Loretto Low FCI

Philadelphia FDC
Federal Detention Center Philadelphia is located in downtown Philadelphia. This administrative-level prison serves male and female offenders of all security levels. Most are awaiting trial in federal court, although some are serving brief sentences. The 12-story facility is also a United States Parole Commission Revocation Site. Staff at the facility consists of prisoners who have already been convicted.
Schuylkill FCI
Federal Correctional Institution Schuylkill is a medium-security facility serving male inmates in Butler Township, Schuylkill County in Pennsylvania, about 45 miles north of Harrisburg. There is an adjacent minimum-security prison camp on the grounds, also housing male offenders. Those incarcerated at this institution must participate in academic, self-improvement, and vocational programs and can spend the money they earn in the prison commissary.
